Sweater Weather

The Texas heat waves have passed and the autumn cool weather are finally here on the farm. It has been a struggle with the pests that destroyed my squash harvest and watching the weeds overtake the blueberry and flower field. We are still enjoying our frozen blueberries from last season. Those plumpers were amazing. We begin checking items off our Fall to do list such as weeding, pruning, canning, honey harvesting, and winter gardening. We did harvest our summer honey in Mid August and just completed our fall honey harvest last weekend. It’s time to prep our lady bees for the winter to rest. Honey is available for sale. Please text us at 281-766-8230 if you’re interested in picking up some local honey.
