A Cultivar in the Spotlight: Powder Blue

This late bloomer is worth the wait. White flowers bloom in late spring providing added protection from late freezes and the last cultivar to ripen from mid June to early July at the farm. This rabbiteye variety is regarded as one of the sweeter variety when fully ripened. They produce in large clusters up to 50 berries, perfect for canning or grabbing a handful for your mouth.

Powder Blue matures to a height and spread of 6-10 feet with an upright growth habit. The foliage transforms into a gorgoeus red and yellow color in the Fall for sweater weather.

Come and get a piece of this sweetness before she’s gone.
