2023 Blueberry Season
The cool and wet spring caused the blueberries to ripe a bit earlier this year. Many of our early varieties are turning blue. Pick your own berries are $4/lb. We also sell 12oz pint pre-packaged berries for $5 . Text me @832-349-6430 to order the pre-packaged for pickup. Cash, Zelle, or Venmo accepted.
Please remember these important tips when picking berries at our farm.
IT’S HOT IN TEXAS- Best picking time is before 11am. Wear hats and eye shades.
BUGS- We do not spray our plants, therefore, you will see insect damage on the berries, cobwebs in bushes, and probably some friendly critters scooting about. You can discard the insect ridden fruit and ignore the critters. Only pick berries you can see, do not stick your hands inside the bushes if you are not certain.
SHOES- We are a real farm with real fire ants. We highly recommend you wear close toed shoes and bring bug spray.
BUCKETS- We have picking buckets, but you are welcome to bring your own.
ENTHUSIASM-Bring your enthusiam and smiles. It’s great fun for everyone of all ages.
We are a very small family operation…sometime a one man show. Please be patient with us throughout the season.
