Jack Frost Came for a Visit

The rolling brownouts and freezing temperatures were just part of the drama that came to Texas this week. Nevertheless, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a winter wonderland in the South and it was MAGICAL. I feared my planted flowers are doomed but the blueberries were savaged. It must be the landscape fabric implemented in the fall which helped to retain the heat in the soil. There are more cold days in the forecast but we are hopeful.
